Founder and participant

A person recorded in the register as holding a share. Not the same as a beneficial owner.

The register publishes founders and participants together with the size of each contribution in hryvnia. A founder can be a natural person or a legal entity — including a foreign company, which has no ЄДРПОУ code at all.

One detail matters: a founder's share is stated in hryvnia, while a beneficial owner's is stated as a percentage. They are different measurements and must not be interchanged.

The register entry shows legal ownership, not control. Who actually decides is not what this field records — that is precisely why the separate institution of the ultimate beneficial owner exists.

The register sometimes writes a summary instead of a list of people, such as “ПРИВАТНІ ОСОБИ В КІЛЬКОСТІ 112 ОСІБ”. That is not a person, and we do not build a personal page out of such an entry.
