КВЕД — the economic activity code
The classifier for what a company does. The open ЄДР dataset no longer carries it.
КВЕД-2010 is the Ukrainian classification of economic activities, built on the European NACE Rev. 2, so the first four characters of a code match the European one.
A company can hold several codes; the first is the principal one. The code records a declared activity, not a verified one: it says what the company set out to do, not what it does today.
Since 2022 the open ЄДР dataset has not published КВЕД codes. We read them from the State Statistics Service's financial statements dataset, where they remain — so a code is visible only for companies that have filed.
