Company ID
The eight-digit number the Unified State Register kept by the Ministry of Justice assigns to every company when it is founded.
The company ID is a Ukrainian company's primary identifier. The the Unified State Register kept by the Ministry of Justice issues it on registration, it never changes, and it is not reissued to anyone else after a company is deleted.
Eight digits, no letters. A legal person's code usually begins with 1 (companies) or 8 (non-profit associations and foundations); a sole trader receives one too.
Unlike many countries, Ukraine has no separate taxpayer number — the Tax and Customs Board uses the same company ID. The only separate number is the VAT number, issued to VAT-registered businesses.
