Income tax
Income tax paid on profit — in Ukraine, only once that profit is distributed.
Ukraine's corporate income tax is unusual internationally: profit a company earns and retains is not taxed. Tax arises on distribution — mainly when dividends are paid, but also on non-business expenses and gifts.
In practice this means a profitable Ukrainian company can report zero income tax for years. That is the ordinary result of the system, not a sign of anything unusual.
It also means this line cannot be used to compare a Ukrainian company with a foreign one without allowing for the difference in systems.
