This row shows wages and salaries accrued to staff over the reporting year. It is the amount before personal income tax and the military levy are withheld, so it is larger than what employees actually received.
The unified social contribution does not sit in this row — it is reported separately, under social contributions. The total cost of employing staff is therefore roughly 22% above this figure.
Together with the employee count it gives a rough average wage — but only rough: the row covers the whole year while the average headcount moves.
